How far along: 19 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: The scale said I lost 1/2 a pound, but I'm not sure I believe it so I'll stick with 13 lbs
Maternity clothes: My new discovery this week - yoga pants without the top band rolled down work great as "black dress pants"....(and so comfy!)
Stretch marks: Negative

Sleep: Ok this week 

Best moment this week: Getting more maternity clothes from Lindy (Boon's cousin)...which included lots of pants!

Miss anything: My non-foggy brain! 

Movement: Still not every day, but it is so great when I feel the baby!

Food cravings: Hot & Spicy V8 Tomato Juice

Anything making me queasy or sick: Nope!  Yahoo!

Gender prediction: I'm going with a boy; Boon is sticking with a girl...we find out sooooo-oo soon!

Labor Signs: Negative.

Symptoms: Leg/calf cramps started this week.  Ouch!

Belly button in or out: Still in!

Belly button ring in or out: Lost the ring this week - took it out on Sunday (the 22nd).  It was a very sad day!

Wedding rings on or off: On!

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy!! 

Most surprised about: How slow this week went!  Must have been in anticipation for my doctor's appointment on Monday, the 30th.   

Looking forward to: Finding out the sex!!!!!!!

Holy cow, I almost died!

True Story:  As I was getting ready for work this morning, I make a small wish that I hear my new favorite song "Angel Eyes" by Love and Theft on my way to work.  So you can imagine my excitement when it comes on the radio about half way into my commute today!!! 

So after a quick shout-out to The Man Upstairs for playing my song - and like any other totally normal person driving to work in the morning - I crank the volume and starting belting out the words at the top of my lungs.  Yes, I'm one of those people that jam out by themselves in the car while others drive by and laugh...but I don't care - I love this song!  

The only hiccup in my oh-so-exciting morning is that when the song came on I was mid-bite into my fiber bar (note: 2nd breakfast of the morning) and in the midst of all my excitement, I forgot that one cannot swallow food and start belting out lyrics at the same time.   Imagine my surprise!!  One minute I'm overly pumped that my song came on and the next I'm choking!  And we are talking serious choking - trying to cough, eyes watering, fists trying to punch your own back choking!  A gazillion thoughts are running through my head...first, I can't hear my song! Second, should I pull over?  OMG, can you do the heimlich maneuver on a pregnant lady?  Would anybody know how to do the heimlich on a pregnant lady?  Damn, fiber bar! My favorite part - I'm missing it!  How long can one go without breathing? Why is this happening?  And then.....AIR!!!!  I can breathe!  I don't have to pull over!!  I'm alive!!!!!  Shoot, I missed over half my song!!

Now that that was over - and I'm still here and able to type this (and super thankful) - I decided to award myself with a nonfat vanilla chai...I deserved one!  However, I was still bummed that I missed most of my favorite song....thank gosh for Youtube on my phone!  I played the song (singing just slightly above whisper the whole time since my phone's volume isn't quite as audible as the car's volume) another 3 1/4 times before I got to work...and I didn't choke once!   Ahhhh, the small things in life...

I am long overdue on a Jaxson update so for your reading/viewing/watching pleasure I have a lot in store for you!!!

The first round of cuteness comes from our trip to North Dakota.  We had lots of great times with family, many laughs (and a few cries), and way too many delicious meals [read: so much for trying to slow down my above-average pregnancy weight gain!].

I absolutely love that video!  I love how he cheers at the beginning like it is the best concert he has ever been to....as a matter of fact, I bet it is the best (and only) concert he has ever been to.  Makes sense now!

18 Weeks

How far along: 18 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 13 lbs (eek!)
Maternity clothes: Still able to fit into some work clothes with the help of the bellyband and loose summer dresses are the best! Otherwise, all maternity for this baby bump!

Stretch marks: Negative

Sleep: Sleeping a bit better these days... 

Best moment this week:  Feeling the baby move!! 

Miss anything:  My oh-so-loved vanilla chai...although I do cheat and have one every now and then.  Shhhh!!

Movement: YES!!!!  Not totally consistent and not every day yet, but definitely feeling the baby...and I LOVE IT!!!

Food cravings: Hot & Spicy V8 Tomato Juice and North Dakota summer sausage.  

Anything making me queasy or sick:  The heat was not my friend this week.  :(    

Gender prediction:  I'm starting to lean towards boy, but I'm not going all in with that guess yet either!  Boon is still thinking it's a girl!

Labor Signs: Negative.

Symptoms:  Hunger, hunger and hunger...I'm so hungry all of the time!

Belly button in or out:  We'll go with in, but it's getting close. :( 

Belly button ring in or out: I made it another week with the ring in!! 

Wedding rings on or off: On!

Happy or moody most of the time:  Especially happy this week! 

Most surprised about: How much movement I'm actually feeling.  It's amazing the change in just one week. 

Looking forward to:  Finding out the sex...only 1 week from Monday!!  (and my birthday!)

17 Weeks

How far along: 17 Weeks 4 Days
Total weight gain/loss: ??? I don't want to know!
Maternity clothes: Love them!  I need to find some XXLong maternity jeans...anyone know where I can get a pair?

Stretch marks: Negative

Sleep: What?  Sleep?  What is that? 

Best moment this week:  Getting to hang out with Jaxson again!

Miss anything: Sleeping!

Movement: Nothing this week.  :( 

Food cravings: Hot & Spicy V8 Tomato Juice.  Yum! 

Anything making me queasy or sick:  Nope!     

Gender prediction:  I go back and forth...I really have no idea!  

Labor Signs: Negative.

Symptoms: My hips are still killing me!!!!!!!

Belly button in or out:  Ummm...I'm still counting it as an inny! 

Belly button ring in or out: In, but my sister told me I need to take it out.  Boo! 

Wedding rings on or off: On!

Happy or moody most of the time:  My grandma's funeral was hard, but I'm glad she isn't suffering anymore so besides the obvious I was happy most of the time. 

Most surprised about: That I could eat a steak...and it didn't gross me out!

Looking forward to:  Feeling movement on a regular basis and finding out the sex!

16 Weeks

How far along: 16 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 9-ish pounds
Maternity clothes: Almost exclusively.  I can still fit into a few work pants with the help of the bellyband, but they are getting tight FAST.  :(  

Stretch marks: Negative

Sleep: Didn't sleep well at all this week.  I feel like I get my second wind at night and just can't shut my brain off.   

Best moment this week:  Seeing my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, mom, Holly, Tony and Jaxson in North Dakota.  We had a great 4th of July!! 

Miss anything:  Sleeping!

Movement:  On the 4th (after I ate my wonderful BBQ and pumpkin bar for dessert) I swear I felt 4 little punches!!  I think the baby was telling me to have another pumpkin bar...so I did! 

Food cravings: Still loving me some oranges!

Anything making me queasy or sick:  Definitely getting better with this...I didn't notice anything making me queasy or sick this week.     

Gender prediction: Still holding out.  I always refer to the baby as a "he" though...not sure if that is telling me something or not!   

Labor Signs: Negative.

Symptoms:  My hips are killing me!!!!!!!

Belly button in or out: Barely in!

Belly button ring in or out: In, but I should really take it out...I just can't part with it yet! 

Wedding rings on or off: On!

Happy or moody most of the time: Happy...I'm starting to love being pregnant!

Most surprised about: How many people are telling me I'm having twins!  Haha!  (I wouldn't mind, honestly!) 

Looking forward to:  Finding out the sex on July 30th! 

15 Weeks

How far along: 15 Weeks
Total weight gain/loss: 9-ish pounds
Have we told family or friends:  Yes!
Maternity clothes:  Pretty much all I can wear now...I need more!  The bellyband still works though so that helps expand (literally!) the wardrobe a little. 

Have I started to show yet: Yep - see above! 

Stretch marks: Negative

Sleep: Not sleeping so well lately.  Can't get comfortable and my sinuses are driving me insane which forces me to sleep more upright which just kills my hips. 

Best moment this week:  Hearing the heartbeat again!!  Went to the doctor on June 29th and everything was perfect!

Miss anything:  Oranges...they didn't have any at work this week.  :(

Movement:  Every now and then I swear I feel something...it's like little ripples. I love it, but it happens so fast and unexpected that I can't focus on it so I'm not sure if I'm really feeling the baby or not.  Hopefully I will know for sure soon!

Food cravings:  Still oranges.   

Anything making me queasy or sick:  Same ol' things...plus the smell of beef now.  Ugh!    

Gender prediction: Still not saying.  We are about even on the guesses from others though.   

Labor Signs: Negative.

Symptoms: You name it and I'm experiencing it! My most obvious symptom, of course, is the baby bump.

Belly button in or out: In!  (Barely...I'm a bit scared!)

Belly button ring in or out: In!  (Again, barely...I'm going to have to take it out soon.  That will be a sad day.)

Wedding rings on or off: On!

Happy or moody most of the time:  Happy...all of the time!

Most surprised about: How much I'm showing!

Looking forward to:  Going to North Dakota next week to see the family!
